Hi I'm Mystic Jane, my birth name is Sheila Stewart but Spirit have chosen Mystic Jane as my work name and I'm always happy to go along with Spirit.
My very first experience with Spirit was when I was around 5 years old, I became aware of voices speaking to me, I could not see anyone but I had a feeling someone was around in the room with me. As I got older I realised I was being told about events that would happen in my life at a later date. Thinking back now it was a little scary, but I was not afraid, I also remember thinking at a later date, what a lot of information to give a 5 year old child, but I never questioned anything back then. A discussion that happened when I was about 7 years old affected me deeply when I was 57 years old. I was in the company of a lady who was speaking to my Aunt, all I heard was "she will be the one that passes on the news of my death to my son when she is older" a few weeks later I was in the same class at school as this ladies son, when a gentleman spirit came to me in the classroom and said " you will go to Norwich for him one day" pointing to her son. Both of these incidents have now happened. I was a little overwhelmed, because it was a few months later when I recalled everything. I know this may seem a little odd but it is just an example of how Spirit have worked with me in the past.
I have had many other experiences since, but nothing quite like that, they have been more about helping others through using Tarot cards, or simply talking with Spirit to help others.
I have travelled to many places to carry out the work that Spirit wish me to do, Shetland I call my Spiritual home, there is something very magical there for me. While I was there on my first visit, I went into a shop to purchase yet another set of Tarot cards, I recall saying I wonder if these will bring more people to me. The lady in the shop heard me and started to chat, she asked me to go back and do readings in her shop for customers. I did go back and I went back again, and several times after, each time more and more people came to see me. I must admit it has been a while since I was last there, but Spirit wanted me to work closer to home. I know there is a calling to go back at some point in the future, but for now Spirit have other ideas for me.
I use a number of different Tarot packs for doing readings, Spirit guide me as to which pack to use for the person having a reading. the cards are just a visual aid for the client, because the Spirit of loved ones can communicate with me directly. I have communicated with many Spirits over the years, some have had very interesting lives which they are happy to tell me about, I do tend to find that the person they were when alive are still the same in Spirit, Some have lessons to learn in the Spiritual world to which they come back and apologise where necessary. Some come back with stories to make their loved ones smile again.
I have for the last ten years been teaching Tarot, this is another part of my job I love to do, as meeting others to teach is a great experience we usually end up having a laugh. Sometimes we have to laugh, because it helps to bring Spirit closer. Spirit I find would much rather see their loved ones laughing and enjoying life, rather than being sad.
Again over the last few years, I have found that I have been counselling people, during their readings, (the counselling is coming from Spirit).
I do use laughter while working, this is not me being disrespectful, it is because laughter lifts the mood, Spirit are doing all the work.
I am the messenger, if Spirit did not give me the help and guidance and the words to say, I would not be able to work in the way that I do.
I am very grateful to Spirit for allowing me to work with them.
I find helping others in this way, helps me also, on many levels.
